CDMO selection, formulations and labelling rules
Request: We are contacting you because we are considering the production of some supplements for online sale. At this first stage we are looking for a company that can produce a line of 10 supplements for us. In addition to selecting a manufacturer and producing the formulas, we are interested in you following the regulatory aspects of labelling and marketing for Italy Spain and France.
Development of the work: Before selecting the subcontractor, I had to ensure the quantity that the company required per reference. In a second step, I contacted the subcontractors that seemed most in line with the request and tried to understand the production schedule. After the selection of two CDMOs that I already knew for the quality aspects of production, I dedicated myself to the realization of the formulas by liaising with the company and its specific requests. At the end of the formulation work with the selection of the raw materials and suitable excipients, and the choice of packaging, I sent requests for quotations to the two manufacturing companies to assess who had the lowest price for the same quality. The ten products are on the market today.
