We are asking for your advice so that we can start the necessary paperwork to send to EFSA and decide which path to follow in analyzing the product.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development of work:<\/strong> I checked the attached technical document and requested a call with the founders of the start-up. I highlighted all the issues related to placing a Novel Food on the market in Europe and what practices there are to follow in order to obtain approval. Above all, toxicological studies are crucial for the project&#8217;s resurrection and that these must be carried out as required by EFSA. We started the collaboration by collecting everything that could prove a history of consumption of the product in other non-European countries in order to simplify the authorization procedures and then we proceeded with the selection of the most suitable laboratories for the required studies.
